What we collect, and what we don't

If you fill in the form

Your email address and your answer

That's all we ask for and all we keep. Your answer doesn't change the record — the polling numbers decide what's on it and what order it's in. It shapes what the blog writes about instead. We email you when the record changes, about twice a year, and when a new post goes up. If your answer turns into a post, that's how you'll find out.

• We don't sell it. We don't rent it. We don't hand it to anyone else.
• We don't add you to anything you didn't ask for.
• Every email we send has a way to stop them.
• Ask and we'll delete it. Write to info@fundamentallyhuman.com and it's gone.

If you just read

The site doesn't follow you

• No advertising trackers.
• No cookies that identify you.
• The typefaces are stored on this site, so loading a page doesn't tell Google you were here.

The company that hosts this site keeps its own standard server records, the way every host does — things like the address your request came from and which page you asked for. We don't use those records for anything and we don't connect them to anyone.

Where things are kept

Two places

• The site and the form entries are hosted by Netlify, in the United States.
• Email sent to the address above arrives in a Gmail account.

Both companies have their own privacy terms, which cover what they do with what passes through them.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes

Anything that changes what we collect or who can see it gets said plainly here, not slipped in.
